After-School Lead (French Speaking)
Lead daily after-school programming rooted in outdoor play and child-led exploration. You'll mentor a small team, build relationships with families, and help shape the experience children have with Grounded.

Support and mentor a team of animateurs and animatrices

Read the energy of the group and shape the afternoon as it unfolds

After-School Assistant
(French Speaking)
Support children in nature-based after-school programming, helping create a safe, playful environment where kids can explore, move, and connect with the outdoors.

Facilitate outdoor after-school activities for groups of 15–30 children

Follow the children's lead — spark curiosity, join in games, introduce challenges

Work as part of a two-person team per group

Serve on Our Board
Our board guides the direction of Grounded and helps ensure children's well-being stays at the centre of everything we do. We welcome community members who share our values and want to contribute their skills and experience.

Guide the direction and growth of Coureurs d'la Forêt and SDEC

Support the development of high-quality, nature-based programs for francophone children in Nova Scotia

Help build community partnerships and expand program access

Open to individuals with backgrounds in education, community development, law, finance or nonprofit management
